Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced K-12 educator to join our team as a Customer Success & Training Specialist. This role bridges classroom expertise with cutting-edge technology, supporting schools and districts as they implement Colleague AI. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in teaching, a passion for professional development, and excitement about how AI can enhance education.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead professional development (PD) and training sessions for teachers and school staff at the district and school levels.
- Provide ongoing customer support to ensure successful implementation of Colleague AI.
- Develop asynchronous training materials, guides, and resources for educators.
- Represent Colleague AI at regional education conferences as a presenter, exhibitor, or company representative.
- Conduct outreach to identify and develop new opportunities for school and district engagement and conference attendance.
- Collaborate with sales team members to support school and district partnerships, conduct platform demonstrations, and contribute to closing deals.
- Act as a trusted partner and advocate for teachers, ensuring their feedback informs product and training improvements.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of K-12 teaching experience (required).
- Ability to create engaging instructional materials (both live and asynchronous).
- Strong communication and presentation skills across diverse educator and administrator audiences.
- Deep interest in and enthusiasm for AI in education.
- Proven track record of delivering PD, training, or instructional coaching.
- Comfortable with regional travel for school visits, conferences, and events.
- Entrepreneurial mindset, flexibility, and eagerness to grow with a startup team.
Location & Travel
This position is open in the South, Midwest, and East regions of the United States. Candidates should be based in these regions and expect moderate regional travel.
