Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and creative individual with a strong background in business and sales to join our dynamic team. This role is ideal for someone who is deeply passionate about the intersection of education technology, entrepreneurship, go-to-market strategy, and scales.
The successful candidate will play a crucial role in developing and implementing effective business models and sales processes to drive the adoption of our Colleague AI platform among teachers and school districts. Working closely with the founding team, this new position will spearhead various initiatives aimed at onboarding more districts to pilot our cutting-edge technology and ultimately secure sales contracts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Crafting and executing go-to-market strategies to penetrate the education technology market.
- Identifying and cultivating relationships with key decision-makers in school districts.
- Developing innovative business models that align with the unique needs of the K-12 education sector.
- Collaborating with the product and engineering teams to ensure the platform meets the evolving requirements of our customers.
- Analyzing market trends, competitor landscape, and customer feedback to inform strategic decision-making
Qualifications:
- Proven track record in business development and sales within the K-12 education technology industry.
- Experiences of closing contracts with school districts and deeply understanding the sales cycle to school districts.
- Experiences to implement a subscription based business model, or a combination of B2C and B2B sales.
- Excellent communication, including strong writing and editing skills.
- Data-driven decision-making skills, with the ability to analyze market trends, competitor landscape, and customer feedback to inform strategic decisions.
- Entrepreneurial mindset and a passion for driving innovation in the education technology space.
